November News: BOOK!

November News: BOOK!
My new sunset perch

Welcome Friends!

If this is your first time reading the newsletter, thank you! For my returning readers, I send you my heartfelt thanks. Readers extend the imaginative plane and create a collective experience for us. I am grateful. πŸ™πŸΌ

I have found my sunset perch at our new home, and we are finally settling in. There is nothing like two moves in three months to disrupt the map of routines. Change is good, but changing again quickly can be unsettling. I have had to remind myself to take it slow and be patient about creating new routines. Amid this adjustment, creative projects continue at a slower pace. However, there is good news to share!

New Book Release!

I am beyond THRILLED to share that the book I have been working on for four years is published and ready for purchase!

It was written with busy educators in mind, creating sustainable and fun routines to help bring calm in difficult times. It only takes 10 seconds to find relief, and when you string 10 seconds together over time, you develop a routine to assist when life offers up difficult times.

The book is now available in the Kindle store as an e-book. It makes my heart happy to have birthed this baby.

If you purchase 10 Seconds to Zen, send me a message and let me know what you think, or if you like, leave a review for it.

Book I Just Read

Writers read. Even when I don't have time to read, I read something. It could be short articles, poetry, or research for work. I haven't had time to finish novels this month. Still, I have read widely and was captivated by a book about increasing longevity: OUTLIVE: The Science and Art of Longevity by Peter Attia. It was a recommended read by my favorite fitness and success coach, Joseph Hawthorne, who was instrumental in getting my book finished and published. It is a long read with a relatively conversational tone– not too heavy with the doctor's speech. It's there, just not too burdensome.

Gratitude Countdown

Every Thanksgiving (and sometimes on other days), my little family of four sit around the table, and we do a gratitude countdown. I can't remember where I first encountered this idea, but it is excellent. We list ten things we are grateful for– no specific order. As I close out the newsletter this month, I am thankful for you, Dear Reader. Thank you.

Be well,
Bridget
