About Bridget
Bridget Kelley-Lossada is a writer, educator, caregiver, mother, and poet-historian who lives and works in Los Angeles. She is the granddaughter of an Italian immigrant who taught her how to cook and listen to the trees.
An ardent supporter of the arts and arts education for over 30 years, Bridget is a history teacher by trade with an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University. She blends poetry and the arts in curriculum design and has led workshops on cultivating creativity in public and independent schools. More recently, she has designed and led wellness workshops and retreats for educators. Bridget works as an advisor and supports and coordinates many Student Life programs at her current school. She recently returned to the classroom after 15 years of leading teachers as a middle school director.
